The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

As a Hybris Business / Functional analyst you are expected to participate in overall strategy, standardization, analysis, design and implementation of a hybris client initiative. You will be working on developing functional processes / operational rules for multi-channel retailing and will be part of the e-Commerce technology implementation programs



Expectations and Tasks

Perform high-level analysis of customer business processes and requirements and design custom end-to-end solutions that meet those requirements on price/performance/scalability

Analysing requirements and generating use cases, activity diagrams along with detailed functional specifications document or User Stories for assigned functionality

Is able to design and communicate detailed solution and technology architecture to the client and implementation team

Working with User Experience team to develop and refine prototypes, with developers to ensure they understand all aspects of the requirements and with the QA team to ensure corresponding test cases are created and reviewed before development is completed

Work with the product owners & project managers to assist in agile development processes, such as verifying user stories status per iteration, demos to product owners, etc.

Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines as per clients' requirements

Driving adoption of newer cutting-edge technology within the organization through knowledge sessions and through adoption of the same in the solution



Qualifications:

4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in Hybris E-Commerce (Multi-Channel / Omni-Channel Retailing) or as functional consultant in e-Commerce technology solution implementation

2-3 Full life cycle implementation experience

Hybris certification will be preferred

Strong product knowledge in Hybris, Omni Channel Commerce, B2B, B2C, Order management / Stock management, Payment methods and Data hub

Has experience with web technologies, application servers, middleware, enterprise application integration, databases, security, performance and scalability

Clear understanding of Hybris ecommerce modules: cart, personalization, catalog, promotions, checkout, order management, customer service and hybris cockpits and accelerators

Experience of multiple e-Commerce technology solution implementation programs with exposure to Waterfall and Agile implementation methodologies

Experience and skills in the areas of business requirements management, functional testing, user training & solution documentation, project management

Undergraduate degree in Engineering; Postgraduate degree in management (preferable)

Exposure to global retail/Mfg industry and/or global retail consulting assignments will be an advantage

Soft skills: Team player with excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
