Job Description Job Description Actalent is Hiring a Team of Medical Assistants Job Description The medical assistant will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. The role supports clinician and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating patient population. The medical assistant is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. Responsibilities Support clinicians and care management teams in assessing and maintaining chronic disease management. Examine and treat patient population. Perform all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. Provide quality team-based patient care. Assist in both clinical and administrative functions. Essential Skills Medical assisting Patient care Customer service Medical terminology Basic Life Support (BLS) Ability to take manual vitals Bilingual in English and Spanish Additional Skills & Qualifications MA diploma OR Certified MA (CMA) OR 3 years' MA experience High school diploma required 2 years' experience within clinic/back office healthcare setting Phlebotomy experience required Active driver's license required Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Delray Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $41000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
