ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Weston, Florida. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM with liver call responsibilities • Participate in other surgical cases when no liver/transplant procedures are scheduled • Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts • On-call requirement of 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month • Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience including organ implantation, not just harvesting • Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA equipment • Minimum 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR RN experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) • Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs • Participate in training students and new staff as this is a teaching facility • Complete 40 hours of orientation • Must pass EKG and pharmacy tests during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each • Complete required modules averaging 6-15 hours (non-billable) • Must be nicotine-free with negative 10 panel nicotine drug screen required • Scrub color: Ceil blue • Use EPIC charting system • Care for adult and geriatric patients • Work in 18-room OR with daily census of 55-60 patients Facility: This 230-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital specializes in complex surgical procedures including organ transplantation.
